My husband, Matt, and I have lived in beautiful Atlantic Beach, FL for twenty years. We built a dream home big enough to give our family of six plenty of room for friends, parties, and privacy, and it has been just an amazing community to raise our family. Now that our four children are all grown, flown and college graduates, we do seem to hear an echo at times. All four of our children attended Duval County Schools: Kelly (Stanton IB 13/UF 16/UNF 18), Samantha (Stanton IB 14/Vanderbilt 18), Cassidy (Stanton IB 16/Western Washington University 26), and Troy (Stanton IB 18/FSU 23). Matt has been a small business owner in the community since we moved to the north Florida area in 2001, and I worked for an online curriculum/school management company for over 13 years before leaving to focus on a private consulting business. I completed my doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction last month and truly enjoy the students and families I work with each college admissions cycle.
